Plant Protector 200ml

a Systemic suspension concentrate insecticide for use in the garden to control Ants, Harvester Termites and Mole Crickets in lawns, Thrips and other sucking insects, on Conifers, Roses and other Ornamentals.

Directions for Use:

• Ants: Lawns in the garden: 5ml product to 500ml water at 1 nest entrance or 50ml product per 5l water at 10 nest entrances. Pour 500ml of the mixture directly into or around each nest entrance. Treat all nest entrances being actively used by ants. Use outdoors only.
• Harvester Termites: Lawns in the garden (cutting and carrying dry grass into their nests): 5ml product per 500ml water for 1 nest entrance or 50ml product per 5l water for 10 nest entrances.
• Mole Crickets (Gryllotalpa): 20ml product to 600ml for 25m² of lawn surface or 85ml product per 2,5l water for 100m² of lawn surface or 330ml product per 10l water for 400m² of lawn surface. Apply as a full cover spray when the presence of Mole Crickets is first noticed. Irrigate within 24 hours of application. Lawn should not be mown before irrigation or before rain has fallen. Important: Mole Crickets longer than 15mm will not be controlled effectively.
• Conifers – Italian Cypress Aphid (Cinara Cupressivora): 20ml product per 1l water for trees less than 2m tall or 40ml product per 2l water for trees between 2 and 2,5m tall or 80ml product per 4l water for trees between 2,5 and 3m tall or 150ml product per 8l water for trees taller than 3m. Preventive or corrective treatments can be applied. Prevention: Start treatment during April to May to prevent Aphid attacks. Apply as a drench around the stem base of each tree. Repeat after approximately two months. Corrective: Apply as a soil drench around the stem base of each tree when first signs of infestation are noticed. Repeat after approximately two months. Yearly preventive treatments are recommended to avoid die-back of trees due to Aphid infestations.

Use this product only as directed and handle it with care, as it may be harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. It is toxic to fish and wildlife and should be stored in a cool place, away from food, feed, children, uninformed persons, and animals. In case of poisoning, call a doctor immediately and present the product label. Avoid inhaling spray mist and fumes, and wear protective clothing, which should be washed after each use. Wash skin with soap and water after handling or accidental contact. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling or applying the product, and only do so after removing work clothes and washing hands and face. Clean spray applicators immediately after use, and dispose of rinse water where it cannot contaminate crops, grazing, rivers, or dams. Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water, and eating utensils. Destroy empty containers and never reuse them for any other purpose.
