Knox Worm 50ml

Controls Africa Bollworms, Aphids, Army Worms, Codling Moth Larvae, Cutworms, Diamond Back Moth Larvae, False Codling Moth Larvae, Fruit Flies, Thrips and Lesser Army Worms. Broad spectrum insecticide.

Directions for Use:

Ensure PH of water is around 4. Add a suitable buffering agent to correct pH of water if necessary. Measure out the required quantity and premix this with at least 10l of already PH corrected water (pH4). If any other product is to be added to the tank mixture, the required volume of that product must be premixed in similar fashion. Agitate the water in the spray tank and add the premixed product(s) to the tank. Fill the spray tank with water to the required volume, while maintaining agitation to ensure thorough mixing. Maintain agitation during spraying. Use the prepared mixture immediately. Do not allow to stand overnight.

• Beans (Africa Bollworm): 1ml per 10l water. Apply as soon as eggs or larvae are noticed. Inspect plants regularly and if necessary repeat application.
• Cabbage and Brussels Sprouts (Africa Bollworm, Diamond Back Moth Larvae and Thrips): 1ml per 10l water. Ensure good wetting of the plant. When pests are discovered the first time, spray on sight. Repeat 10 to 14 days later. When the caterpillars are already in the cabbage head, or in the clusters of the leaves of the Brussels sprouts, variable control can be expected.
• Lawns (Army Worm): 5ml per 10l water: Apply as a full cover spray to lawns when caterpillars are noticed.
• Ornamentals (Africa Bollworm and Aphids): 1ml per 10l water. Apply as a full cover spray.
• Seedling Transplants (Cutworms): 4ml per 10l water. Apply treatment either pre- or post-emergence when pest is noticed. Ensure that top 3cm of the soil is moist. Repeat treatment in cases of re-infestation. Apply directly to the soil at a rate of 1l mixture to 20m².
• Peas (Africa Bollworm and Lesser Army Worm): 1ml per 10l water. Apply as a full cover spray. If necessary repeat at 15 day intervals.
• Peaches (Africa Bollworm, Codling Moth Larvae, False Codling Moth Larvae and Fruit Flies): 1ml per 10l water. Apply as full cover spray at 75% petal drop. Ensure good coverage. Repeat at 14 to 21 day intervals.
• Tomatoes (Africa Bollworm): 1ml per 10l water. At first signs of infestation, apply as a full cover spray. Repeat at 7 to 10 day intervals, or as required.

Safety Information:

Handle this product with care as it is harmful by contact, ingestion, or inhalation and may irritate the eyes, respiratory system, and skin. It is highly toxic to bees but poses no hazard under normal application conditions. The product is flammable, so avoid storing it near open flames. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from food, feedstuffs, and out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. If poisoning occurs, seek medical attention immediately and provide the product label to the doctor. Do not enter treated areas within one day of application unless wearing protective clothing. The product’s efficacy may be affected by factors such as soil, climate, storage conditions, water quality, and pest resistance, and the registration holder does not guarantee performance under all conditions. When handling or mixing, wear protective gear, including a face shield, rubber gloves, and rubber boots. Avoid inhaling fumes or spray mist, and wash with soap and water after accidental skin contact or use. Wash contaminated clothing after use and avoid eating, drinking, or smoking while using the product. Clean application equipment after use, and dispose of wash water to avoid contaminating crops, grazing, rivers, dams, or boreholes. Empty containers should be triple-rinsed and drained before destruction. The rinsings must be added to the spray tank before the container is perforated, flattened, and safely disposed of. Never reuse the container for any other purpose, and ensure food, feed, drinking water, and eating utensils are not contaminated. Observe minimum withholding periods before harvesting: 7 days for beans and peas, 4 days for cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and tomatoes, and 14 days for peaches.
