a Wettable powder insecticide for home, garden and public health. Residual contact and stomach poison for the control of pests as listed. Broad spectrum insecticide. For use on a wide variety of roses, ornamentals and fruit trees.
Directions for Use:
- Garden: Lawn caterpillars and Army Worm: 45g product (9 measuring spoons) per 10l water. Spray when infestation is noticed. Use 10l of spray mixture per 200m².
- Chafer Beetles: 15g product (3 measuring spoons) per 10l water. Apply as a cover spray to wet plants thoroughly.
- Elegant Grasshoppers: 15g product (3 measuring spoons) per 10l water. Commence spraying when grasshoppers are noticed. Use 10l spray mixture per 10m².
- Apples and Pears: Codling Moth: 6g product per 10l water. Commence spraying at 3 or 4 petal fall. Apply 5 to 6 additional sprays at 14 to 21 day intervals to avoid possible fruit thinning. So not apply within 21 days of full bloom effect on apples.
- Cactus Pears Cactoblastis and Cochineal: 4ml per 20g product (4 measuring spoons) per 10l water. Application for cochineal may be any time of the year. Spray for cactoblastis during the first two weeks of November and the first two weeks of March. High pressure, large droplet size and thorough wetting is essential in both instances.
Safety Information:
Handle Karbaspray with care and avoid applying it to kieffer and forelle pear varieties or quinces. It is poisonous if swallowed, absorbed through the skin, or inhaled, and it is toxic to fish, bees, and wildlife. Store it securely, away from food and feed, and out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. Do not inhale insecticide dust or spray mist, and wash immediately with soap and water if accidental skin contact occurs. Always wear rubber gloves and a suitable mask when mixing and applying, and refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking until hands and face have been thoroughly washed. Prevent spray drift onto other crops, grazing, rivers, or dams, and clean the applicator before using it for other materials. Dispose of wash water responsibly, ensuring it does not contaminate food, grazing, or water sources. Destroy the empty container and never reuse it for any purpose.
